About Denise
Denise H Davis, MSW is a licensed psychotherapist. She earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology and social work, respectively, as well as numerous certified training hours in areas of depression, anxiety, communication, and healthy brain functioning.
Ms. Davis has worked in multiple social work, administrative, and executive leadership positions. In 2016, she decided to use her skills to assist adults, children, and couples with learning about and addressing mental health issues by founding Guided Psychological Services (GPS). Inspired by the direction that a GPS device traditionally provides, she’s committed to helping her clients find their way. Ms. Davis believes she has the skills and training needed to expertly guide her clients from depression, anxiety, and regret to hope, clarity, and enhanced relationships.
Ms. Davis is an intentional listener and purposeful communicator affectionately known as “the homework therapist” because she wants her clients to develop coping skills they can use outside of the therapy office.
